Requests and payment

Sending a request does not charge you or reserve an item. We review availability and the details of each request before emailing a fixed-price Stripe invoice. Invoices are due in 48 hours. An unpaid invoice may receive reminders while it remains open; we normally review unpaid invoices after two weeks and may void them. You may decline an invoice without paying.

The separate Pay an existing invoice link is for an invoice you already received. It does not place a shop order.

Castoreum orders and shipping

Castoreum is offered for non-food use. Request the weight you want, with a 25 gram minimum. The product price is $1.45 per gram, and any extra weight we include above the amount requested is free. We confirm stock, the shipping method, shipping charge, and complete amount before invoicing.

We ship only to addresses in the United States, within 3 business days after Stripe confirms payment. If we cannot meet that time, we will offer a revised date for your agreement or cancel and refund the unshipped order.

Castoreum cancellations and returns

You can cancel an unpaid request by declining or ignoring the invoice. If you have paid and the order has not shipped, contact us promptly to request cancellation; we will refund the unshipped order. Once shipped, we do not accept change-of-mind returns.

If an item arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, contact us with your order reference and a description so we can arrange a remedy. Approved refunds go to the original payment method. We do not deduct payment processing fees from an approved customer refund. Your rights under applicable law remain available.

Digital photographs and licenses

After we approve a photo request and Stripe confirms payment, we email a private original-image download link and the photo license terms (PDF). The link works for 7 days and up to 5 downloads. Contact us if you need a replacement link.

The listed photo price covers personal use. Business or commercial use requires an individual written quote stating the permitted use, media or channels, territory, term, quantity or audience limit, and price before payment.

If you change your mind before your first download, contact us for a refund. After the first download, we do not offer change-of-mind refunds. If the link or file is defective or you receive the wrong file, contact us for a working replacement or a refund. Your rights under applicable law remain available.

Taxes and processing fees

The listed $19 or $29 personal-use photo price is the amount charged to you; we absorb Stripe's processing fee. A castoreum invoice shows the approved weight price plus the confirmed shipping charge. We do not add a separate processing-fee surcharge.

We do not currently add sales tax to shop invoices. If our tax-collection obligations change, we will show any tax and the complete amount before you pay.
